Before downloading ROMs or Emulators from Wow ROMs, here are some important things to know.
The sole purpose of running and operating Wow ROMs is to archive retro arcade games. The idea of this project was to preserve the arcade ROMs from loss and to develop a repository of out-of-use retro games that are no longer available. We also want to link the emulator makers and develop a website where players can make an easy search to find emulators for their console/PC. Please note that Wow ROMs DOES NOT support piracy in any way, on the contrary we are against it and we support and encourage our visitors to buy original games and support the developers and creators.
By downloading a virtual copy of the game (ROM) from our website you confirm and agree that you own a license for same.
DMCA / Removal Request
In case Wow ROMs receives notification for intellectual work or copyrighted material we will carefully review the notification and give our best to solve the problem. To ensure that the notification is treated seriously we ask for the following documents and the complaint:
- Identify and precisely point the material that (belongs to you)/(you are representing) and send the URL/s of the pages where it is located.
- Contact information how we can reach you back as well as location of the company representing the copyrighted material.
- All legal documents that evidence ownership of material you are reaching for.
- Authorization signature
